Vermont Floorworks was one of three flooring contractors we received a quote from to repair the severely neglected floors in our Montpelier home and we're glad we went with them. There were water damaged planks and mismatched woods throughout the house that needed attention.  Ed Buchanan and his team brought expertise to the table, taking great care to replace the planks that couldn't be saved.  They also matched the age and species of the woods throughout the project which included old growth doug fir and spruce.  Floors look fantastic now, these guys saved our floors!

I operate two multifamily rental properties and have been using Vermont Floorworks to steam clean our carpets between rentals for over 5 years.  They are always on time and always take our schedule into consideration.  I recently made the mistake of renting one of our units to a gentleman with 2 large dogs.  After they moved out, their dogs scent remained.  I called Ed, he neutralized the odor and the carpet looked new.  I wouldn't use anyone else.

We just had new cream berber carpet installed at our camp in Burlington and my daughter decided it was a good time to sprinkle nail polish on it.  First I freaked out, then I called Vermont Floorworks since the carpet store could only offer to cut out the offending section which would have created another seam.  Every trace of the polish was removed, well worth the very reasonable price charged.
